Fats That Make You Skinny

With growing awareness regarding health issues, some parents are restricting the quantity of sweet treats and instead including non-edible gifts and toys in filling the basket. Here are some more expert tips to make your child’s Easter healthier without compromising on the fun.

  1. Choose the chocolate or jellybeans but only fill the basket with those items that the recipient is actually going to love. Don’t cross the limits.
  2. Include fun fillers that motivate playing or sports. An Easter basket is an excellent time to add toys and items that can be used in physical activity.
  3. Encourage playfulness and child-like fun. Include a bubble-blower in the basket, some Easter arts and crafts, or some Play-Doh and become innovative.
  4. Include something religious or spiritual. Easter is not a religious holiday for all, but if it has religious importance to your family, utilize it to the fullest.
  5. Select attractive, nutritional food stuffs. Include few food items suitable for the age like sugar-free chewing gum and breath mints, flavored green tea, cans of nuts, fruit, etc.

Another excellent option is to make the yearly Easter egg hunt into a scavenger hunt about the house by writing clues on paper and the chocolate bunny is the gift the winner gets ultimately. This way, your kids don’t fatten up on the never-ending supply of chocolate eggs.
